The next phase of the capital improvement project is scheduled to begin in July. This includes both the installation of the new playground area as well as changes to the front ‘island’ to create more accessible parking.
What do you need to know to plan for this work?
- The work on the playground is scheduled to begin July 10th and should not have an impact on Sunday worship services.
- The work on the front island area is scheduled to begin on July 17th and will last through August 11th. Expect the circle drive to be closed during this time.
- The worship services that will be impacted by this closure include: 7/23, 7/30, & 8/6
- We will utilize the Center Entry doors during this timeframe for entering and exiting the building.
- Valet parking will be available on the Sundays that are impacted, but it will work a little differently:
- There will be several spaces blocked off specifically for valet services. These spaces will be at the end of the sidewalk that leads up to the center entrance of the building.
- Wheelchairs will be available to help transport individuals from their vehicles to the building to assist with the longer route.
- Adjustments to this plan may need to be made, and we will communicate changes as quickly as we can.
